CARE GUIDE

Solid 14k gold won’t tarnish or fade, so your piece is made to be worn every day and passed on. A little care keeps it looking its best.

  1. Wear it freely. Showering and everyday life are fine. Take it off before swimming pools and hot tubs, since chlorine can weaken gold over time.
  2. Put it on last. Apply perfume, lotion and hairspray first, then your jewelry. This keeps a film from building up on the gold and stones.
  3. Clean it gently. Soak it in warm water with a drop of mild soap, brush softly with a baby toothbrush, rinse and pat dry with a soft cloth. Skip polishes, bleach and ultrasonic cleaners.
  4. Store it on its own. Gold is soft and can scratch, so keep each piece in its pouch or a separate compartment.
  5. Take it off for heavy work. Remove it for the gym, gardening or moving furniture.
  6. Check it once a year. Look over clasps and settings, and reach out if anything feels loose. We’re happy to take a look.

 

REPAIRS POLICY

We make our pieces to last for generations, and we stand behind them. If something needs attention, we’ll take care of it.

What we repair

  • Arrived damaged or defective: repaired free of charge.
  • Everything else (accidental damage such as a bend or break, plus everyday wear such as scratches, dents or polishing): repaired at a cost. We’ll send you an estimate first.

How it works

  1. Email us at customerservice@myamia-store.com with your name, order number, a short description and a few photos.
  2. We’ll reply with an estimate and shipping instructions.
  3. Once your piece arrives, we’ll look it over and confirm the cost with you.
  4. After you approve, we’ll repair it and send it home.

Timing

Most repairs take 2–4 weeks, depending on the work. We’ll keep you updated along the way.
